October 2018 Honoree
scott dangelo, RN
My husband recently required extensive surgery for a sudden unexpected cancer surgery. His home care needs were quite extensive. Scott was our main nurse. His expertise related to all our needs (tube feedings, oral intake adjustment, dressing changes) was very impressive.
But his compassion for our situation was really special. At the end of his first visit, he asked if we would like to pray. This is not always considered and it made his interaction more personal.
His extra touch extended beyond our actual service dates. Imagine our surprise (and pleasure) when Scott stopped by after my husband was discharged to see how he was doing! An extra special touch!

Thank you, Scott, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
