In addition to multiple other nominations for Scott, this is the nomination that sealed his selection for the DAISY Award. This nomination was written by Scott's colleague at work who wrote this about him when Scott heroically saved her life when she was choking:
"I would like to send an extra special thanks to my HERO Scott for saving my life. I was eating a salad when I started to choke and could not breathe when Scott came to my rescue. I would like to send a special thanks from the bottom of my heart for saving my life. I Love You, Scott; thanks so much!"
