Today, Scott helped save me. I initially entered the hospital a scared, broken woman from domestic violence. Once I told my nurse, my safety and well-being became his #1 priority.
I was quickly moved, my patient information was changed, a sign was on my door for safety and a camera was put in my room. He is the only male who has truly helped me and truly cared that I'm safe and healthy in over a year.
As the Charge Nurse, he took control of the situation and his education and leadership skills were used optimally. I am grateful, and Mercy Health should be too.
