Scott Kiser, RN

Scott was one of the two-night nurses I had during my stay. From the moment I met him, I knew I was in good hands. Scott was the utmost kind to me, making me laugh when I felt hopeless, cheering me on when I started using my walker, and always there when I needed him. I felt I could trust him and that he listened when I was feeling down. Scott truly loves his patients and takes care of them. He also took time to learn about me, even bringing in cards the second night to do magic tricks and make me laugh. Scott and I both share a love of what some would call extreme sports. When the emotional toll of my accident hit hard, he was quick to remind me of other activities I could do and take my mind off of the loss of my main hobby. Scott never made me feel like a burden, and he always lit up the room when he entered. He truly cares about his work and his patients. I would insist that Scott be one of my family's nurses in the future. I cannot thank him enough for being a bright light in a dark place.
