Scott Lawerence, RN

Scott takes the time to address his patients' needs on a holistic level. There was a patient who had been in the hospital for an extended time and had not received visitors. Scott made sure his patient was kept mentally engaged. He sat with his patient and held non-medical conversations with him. He would assist his patient into a chair and help his patient sit in the hall to watch and talk with staff as they walked by. Scott would make time in his day to take his patient outside for fresh air. Scott showed caring and empathy for the patient's needs and treated him with compassionate care and outstanding customer service. He set a positive role model and upheld excellence in his standard of practice. He always has a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
