Scott Ludes, RN
Today I witnessed a parent returning to PICU four years after his son was treated by our staff and share a memory of how Scott provided support and guidance to him in a very dark and sad time. The patient did well and the dad was so full of praise he stated that he would never forget that moment as Scott helped him to understand the situation and be able to cope.
This story is typical of the relationships and support that Scott provides our family’s everyday. He is an expert clinician but also a caring nurse who can make these connections while caring for a critically ill child.
