Scott always puts his patients first and always makes time to talk to them and get to know them in addition to providing extraordinary nursing care. He came in on his day off to offer a helping hand for a patient in need. This was a patient with alcohol dependence; a very young patient. Scott was caring enough to ask an acquaintance of his who has been through a similar situation to come and speak with the patient and offer advice, as well as proof that someone going through a similar situation can make it out and be successful. Doing this on his free time really speaks to his character.
