My husband and I were in from St Louis with friends for the weekend. My husband went into atrial fibrillation and was brought into Cox Medical Center. He was admitted and taken to the 4th floor where Scott was his nurse. We were all blown away by his caring, professional attitude. He went above and beyond bringing me food to eat while I sat by my husband's bedside. He was able to lighten our spirits and reassure us when we discussed our fears with him. He also brought me donuts from the local donut shop because I mentioned I liked donuts. We were treated like we were part of his family. Thank you for having an environment that encourages this type of nursing!

I am a former patient who had a stroke, my best friend was admitted for A-fib. Scott has been his nurse for two days so far. He is the true example of compassion and caring. Not only for my friend but for his wife and us as friends. He comes across as if he were family. He has gone above and beyond in care and explaining things every step of the way. An angel of mercy.
