June 2026 Honoree
Sean Brasfield, LPN
First off, this is a collective heartfelt thought and feeling as a family with a very special person in our lives as the patient. The patient is a very loved and cared-for husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and so much more. He means the world to us, and it means so much that he has been treated like the special person he is.
He has many health issues and conditions that he has to deal with, and being admitted to the hospital is not an easy time for him or the family. With all that being said, he and we had the privilege of having Sean as his nurse, which was comforting during this time. We all feel that Sean is absolutely top-notch, and he is a very caring, compassionate, and attentive nurse who is genuinely kind, cares about his patients, and enjoys his job.
He not only cares about his patient, but he is also wonderful to the patient's family. Sean always greets the patient and the family members each and every time he comes into the room. He always asks the patient if they need anything and how they are doing, along with everyone else in the room.
Sean, in our family's opinion, is awesome and deserves recognition as a great person and nurse. Parkwest Hospital should feel proud and privileged to have him as an employee. We thank the hospital for the care and consideration that you take in your hiring process, and we feel that all future nurses should be compared to and trained to strive to be like Sean as a nurse.
