Sean gave great nursing care and showed the utmost compassion for a patient being cared for in the ER. The patient was being treated for a mental disorder and was not voluntary. Sean had gained the respect and compliance of this patient by his skillful approach and expertise. Sean helped collaborate the care of this patient with the ER MD and assisted keeping the patient calm and cooperative during the many tests and diagnostic studies needed. He also reached out to the patient's mother and aided in her comfort and understanding of the process.

I had witnessed Sean do this many times, he understands that verbally abusive and agitated patients are sometimes very scared and confused. Sean reassures them and helps them gain trust in their care. He is a great asset to our team.
