I had 2 strokes and spent 8 days in the Neuroscience ICU. Sean was my nurse when I had my second stroke. Sean acted quickly and gave me excellent care. He established trust with me and during the very scary experience of the second stroke, held my confidence. After I had a thrombectomy and returned to the ICU I was still on a ventilator. The breathing tube made me panicky and made me feel like I couldn't breathe. Sean communicated with me and said, "H, do you trust me?" I did and nodded yes. He said to breathe deeply and he would take it out soon. Throughout this whole experience, my trust in Sean helped me cope and not panic. He gave me excellent care and I knew I could rely on him. I will never forget what he did for me.
