July 2012 Honoree
sean riley, RN
I was admitted to the Neuro Unit from the ER with a new diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. In crisis and unable to walk, no bladder control, worried and I could not relax with the IV SoluMedrol. The unit was very busy, but Sean’s assessment of my discomfort, his patience and attention and suggestions for sleep turned a “nightmare-ish” day into a peaceful and restful end. I noticed how generous he was in responding to new RN grad’s questions and he mentors beautifully.
