I am honored to nominate Sean for the DAISY Award in recognition of the exceptional care he provided to my 76-year-old father. My father arrived at the Cath Lab for an ablation procedure. He had postponed due to fear and uncertainty. From the moment we met Sean, his presence made an immediate impact. His calm, gentle demeanor and genuine compassion helped ease my father‘s anxiety in a way that truly stood out. Sean took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure and ensure both my father and our family understood what to expect. He answered every question with patient clarity and kindness, which significantly reduced the fear during a very vulnerable moment. His clinical skills were equally impressive. His IV solution was seamless and demonstrated a high level of expertise and confidence.

Beyond his technical ability, what truly distinguished Sean was his emotional presence. As my father was being wheeled into the procedure room, Sean reassured us that he would be my father‘s guide throughout the procedure. This statement alone brought me immense comfort and trust. Sean exemplifies what it means to provide patient-centered care, combining clinical excellence with empathy, compassion, and genuine human connection. It’s not every day that we encounter someone who can make such a profound and lasting impact during a critical moment in our lives.
