We recently celebrated Sebastian Eulig, RN, in the Cath Lab, as a DAISY Awardee for Extraordinary Nurses. Congratulations Sebastian!
A grateful patient nominated Sebastian, stating, “Sebastian cared for me both before and after an unpleasant cardiac catheterization, recognizing me from a previous pacemaker implant. On both occasions, his care and attention were exceptional. He consistently anticipated my needs, took time to listen, and answered my questions with clear, understandable explanations. Sebastian carefully explained the procedure when others had not and reviewed after-care instructions with patience and reassurance. Throughout the experience, his calm, pleasant demeanor and evident clinical competence made a difficult situation far more manageable. His ability to engage with my admittedly quirky sense of humor was an added and much-appreciated bonus!”
