I’ve been to Tower Four twice in the past two months. The first time, Selda discharged me, and she took my pile of meds and went through each, and everyone with me, and talked me through it to make sure I understood it and wasn’t overwhelmed by it. She was very reassuring. This stay I had a fun little episode where my heart rate was a little tachy, and Selda not only got my fluids, my EKG, and helped me to bed, but reassured me that I was OK and I’m doing everything right and the doctor was aware and she was just so comforting while I was worried; she understood my anxiety but reassured me everything would be okay and she’d be here for me. She also kept me laughing throughout the day, especially with all of my problems with my IV. She’s a wonderful nurse who gets the job done while making you feel human at the same time. She’s an asset to Einstein.
