Selena is very caring and compassionate about patients' personal needs, not just medical needs. She is very aware of medical needs and things to help meet these medical needs to help each patient. I came in with a very infectious disease and it was very painful after surgery. Selena made sure I was as comfortable as I could be while going through all this. She came up to me one night and asked me (when she had time later in the evening) if I wanted her to help me brush out my hair. It was in a terrible rats’ nest that I could not get out. (I am a 60 yr old woman who takes pride in how I look but had been so sick I couldn't help myself at all.) She asked me. I never asked her - she could just tell. It made me feel so much better. She got me a blow-up mattress to help with my sore buttocks. I had told many other PCAs and nurses but no one offered any solutions or tried to help me. She always made sure I had fresh ice for my legs, anything that would make me more comfortable while I was going through so much. In came Selena, my angel, who took care of me and made me feel loved and cared for. Please thank her for her empathy.
