Watching Selina work in our Emergency Department is amazing! Most Emergency Rooms are filled with energy and sometimes chaos, but our Emergency Service is arguably one of the busiest and most challenging services in Southern California. Selina serves as one of our Clinical Nurse Coordinators and helps to provide structure to the flow of patients, ambulances, staff, and providers. Our hospital leadership enjoys watching her work because she is unflappable! She is calm and consistent - but most of all - passionate about serving with excellence. Always seeking the best outcomes for patients, Selina ensures she guides the new nurses and new resident physicians in best practices without making them feel intimidated. She is kind and generous with her expertise and compassion. When it comes to helping patients that are not thinking clearly, experiencing hardship, or not able to communicate their thoughts and feelings, Selina is the most caring and loving nurse to them and always provides care with dignity and respect. We are glad she chooses to share her gifts here at Riverside Community Hospital.
