My mom was first placed in hospice care over two years ago. Serena walked both mom and her family through all the steps, keeping in close contact with me (and I passed on to my siblings). It was always reassuring to see her. She spent time with my mom, never talking "down" to her, and treated her with respect.
Mom loved her visits. Mom graduated from hospice 6 months later. In the fall of last year, we once again called in Serena for hospice care, but his time there would be no graduation, only a graduation to glory. Serena made sure everything was in place for my mom's care, loved on my mom and our family. She was a calming influence as we walked through those last days, and we will forever be thankful for her, for all she did for us, and for her kindness and grace.
