My son was born 2 months early and sent to the NICU right after birth. My husband and I are first time parents and were very worried, as you can imagine. Our son weighed only 3 lbs 12 oz and looked so tiny and fragile in the incubator. Shacey made a lasting impression on me and my husband. She was incredible. She always had words to ease my fears and doubts. She took such good care of my son and I could tell she was empathetic to our situation. But most importantly she made me feel like a good mother. Thank you for all you do. The day my son was discharged, she was there sharing in our joy and was the last NICU team member we saw before taking him home. Shacey deserves recognition for her character and a job very well done. My son is doing great and continues to grow. We can't wait to bring him to visit all the wonderful people that took care of him in his first month of life.
