Shaelyn took over the care of my mom this morning. We had to make a difficult decision today, because while my mother is dying my brother is getting married. She has worked tirelessly to help us come up with a solution to be able to attempt to be with our family, for the joys of today and still be able to be here for the sorrowful part. The part about her service that brought me to tears was, when we were discussing switching out her oxygen mask and she went to take care of it while I was talking to my brother. I came back into the room, and she had braided my mother's hair. My mom isn't going to know what her hair is doing today, but that act of Mercy shows what a Compassionate Heart this nurse has. You are blessed to have her on your staff.
