Shahryar Vahabzadeh, nurse at the Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center at Muncy Valley Hospital, was nominated by a patient's family member. "My mother spent close to a year in the Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center prior to passing away, and while there were many kind, caring and compassionate staff that provided her care, Sha was really a special person to my mother. She was eager to have me meet him when he first started caring for her and once I met him I understood why my mother liked him so much. He was always happy and had a great attitude. Sha is a very caring and attentive nurse and quickly responded to any of our requests in a patient and courteous manner. He deserves to be recognized for going above and beyond for my mother."
