After 2 months hospitalized with COVID-19, I completed 6 weeks of cardio/oxygen therapy(sort of like EWOT), supervised by Shaina Vak. Shaina is very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, attentive, and caring. She was extremely interested in my recovery and displayed close attention to my therapy progress. Her extremely positive demeanor and encouragement put me at ease and excited to return for my scheduled appointments. Shaina answered all my questions and paid close attention to my daily development making me feel like we were a partnership working on my recovery. The information she gave and taught me will be invaluable for the rest of my life. On my first day, my 94 oximeter reading with 4-liter oxygen flow dropped to an 89 reading and heartbeat of 145bpm after just 3 minutes on the stepper. In sex weeks with an oximeter 96 reading and 2-liter oxygen flow and a maximum of 20 minutes counting cooling off time on the stepper, my readings were consistently 96 with an 80 bpm heartbeat. I thank Shaina for her extremely dedicated attitude for my outstanding progress toward gaining a normal life soon than I and the doctors expected. Shaina is the epitome of what a caregiver should be.
