Shajuanna was our night nurse and came on board with one mission: to have a baby! My daughter came in for an induction very slooooow progress was being made so Shajuanna said we are going to play “Spin the baby” to get things moving and that’s exactly what we did. She came in every 30 minutes to change her position - she put her in 2 different positions and it worked like magic!!! In no time, she went from a 4 to complete! Shajuanna checked her, and we were surprised to learn the baby’s head was right there. She sat my daughter up “on the throne” to “labor down” and an hour later we began "practice pushing" and Shajuanna was the BEST Guide and Labor Coach!! She helped all of us get through it together! She even "delivered our baby’s Hair" all before our doctor arrived. Baby came within 15 minutes of pushing and a very short 4 ½ hours after the start of Shajuanna's shift. She is by far the BEST NURSE I have ever experienced. She not only deserves our recognition, but recognition of that and beyond! She also kept our room stocked and was Very Attentive at all times!
