Shug currently serves as the Nurse Residency Program Manager for newly hired nurses. Shug is well respected and always smiling. She serves in many additional roles because she cares about patient safety. She is a Champion for our HRO program, where she mentors 8 Influencers across various departments. She oversees staff education with weekly report outs of updates to our nursing huddles. She formulates practice alerts and leads many teams on the Unit based Council. Shug is a shining example of what a nurse who serves with heart is capable of.
