I was taught service by my boss of 17 years and grandfather of 39 years. My wife had exceptional nurses each time delivering four children, but I have never experienced the grace and special touch as I have the past 4 hours of Shameka taking care of my mother. It is rewarding just to watch her and the magical ways she is administrating to my sick mom. Everyone should be so good and exceptional at their job. I know I wish I were.

I would like to express my appreciation to Shameka. My hospital stay was supposed to be two days but was extended until Monday because of my fluctuating fever and heart rate. I got very frustrated because I was ready to go home. She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable by providing professional services and meeting my needs. She was a very thoughtful person.

Shameka was ever present and pleasant. She brought a calm and confident spirit when she entered the room. My husband had not been bathed for about 6 or 7 days due to 2 surgeries and ICU. I had asked earlier in the day but no one was around. Shameka, a night nurse, overheard my conversation and asked someone who happened to be on the floor that evening to get things ready. She inquired first if he was up to a sponge bath that night and yes! Thank you to a great nursing staff, but especially Shameka Malone.
