Shanda was very attentive. She noticed something was off. My baby's heart rate dropped, and she quickly switched into action to protect my baby by holding the umbilical cord until I was rushed for emergency C-section. She even jumped on the bed and rode with me into surgery still holding the cord. During the C-section she held my hand assuring me comfort, saying that my baby was doing great. I was in panic mode and she helped calm me down.
I would also like to add all the nurses that morning were on point and knew what they were doing. As soon as Shanda called for help, nurses came from every direction to help and I heard Shanda calling out orders. Every nurse and assistant either had it done or was already in the process of getting it done. I was very impressed with the teamwork! I felt I was in total comfort with people who knew what they were doing.
