We recently had a really challenging patient in the ICU. He was unsafe to himself and the staff. Many hours were spent by multiple staff members. However, I feel Shane really stood out and exceeded his job description. Shane managed to keep all other departments checked on and smooth and dedicated 3 full 12 hour shifts to the ICU. He was steadfast in his support of the ICU staff, worried constantly about their safety and the best interest of the patient. I was so thankful for Shane's levelheaded approach! Shane put everyone else's needs first and defines an incredible supervisor. I'm so thankful for him.
