Shane always goes the extra mile for our patients, whether it be portraying Santa Claus at work or doing Spirit of Christmas or making Play-Doh flowers with and for them. He takes the time to sit and talk with patients, giving them a listening and caring ear. They all feel truly cared about when Shane is here. He is also always ready and willing to help his fellow nurses, no hesitations or questions asked.

Shane is such a knowledgeable nurse and is a great resource. He does so much for the unit and for all our patients. He is an exemplary nurse. He does a whole lot more outside of work as well. He does so much and is not shown enough appreciation that he really deserves.
