Shanelly was nominated by the wife of a patient who expressed sincere appreciation of her assertiveness in sharing her husband's status, answering questions and ensuring his special dietary needs were met when he was transferred to the PCU.

Shanelly kept the family completely informed of the patient's current status, improvements and setbacks, and for that they are grateful.
