It was Nurse Shan who demonstrated compassion and initiative to find a solution to administer medication intravenously.
I was confined twice. On my 1st confinement, among all the nurses who were assigned to me, it was Nurse Shan who demonstrated compassion and initiative to find a solution to administer medication intravenously. My veins kept on collapsing and it was vital to finish the antibiotics for the minimum of 4-day dosage. She took the time and effort to inquire from the pharmacist the maximum time limit for the administration of medicines so my veins wouldn't collapse. On the 2nd confinement, she was the only nurse who truly listened, observed my symptoms and difficulty in breathing. Despite my informing the physicians and nurses. She was the only one with the initiative to find a way for me to breathe better. Because of the extraordinary and compassionate care of Nurse Shan, my medicines were administered, she explained to me with patience each concern that I had.
