Shanique Jones, RN

My friend experienced bleeding after his port was removed. He called me to bring some special supplies he uses at home to stop the bleeding. When I arrived on the floor, Shanique was at the nurses' station. I explained my friend's situation to her, and even though she was not his nurse, she came to his room and used the supplies to stop the bleeding. She also cleaned up his bed and helped him get dressed. Although she had other patients, she was kind and gentle with him and made us feel like she had all the time in the world for us. I'm so grateful for her help with everything. She is a fantastic nurse and an exceptional person who deserves recognition for providing extraordinary care.
