May 2025 Honoree
Shannon Anderson-Ujvagi, RN
Shannon was the night shift nurse caring for my mother, who was in subacute. My mother was suffering from a terminal condition and eventually passed away while in the hospital. Shannon was my mother’s nurse the last few nights before passing.
She was very caring and loving to my mother. Shannon was there when she passed and helped me after she passed away. She was very empathetic, and her attention never drifted from us. Her empathy was genuine. She is everything a nurse should be. My mother was also a nurse, and she would commend Shannon’s work.

Thank you, Shannon, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
