When I arrived here late in the evening on Saturday, I was met by Shannon. I was scared and emotional and the oncology unit had me very scared. Shannon stayed in my room and she rubbed my shoulders and listened to me cry. She helped me calm down on one of the most emotional evenings I have had. Throughout that first night, the pain I had was terrible. Shannon called the doctor in when she felt I had no relief. She was my rock throughout that first night. Thank you is never enough and that's why I just wanted to say that I appreciate everything she did for me throughout that night and beyond.
