I unexpectedly had a 29-hour labor that included a failed vacuum delivery and ended in a c-section. I needed all the support and care that I could get to be able to recover, cope, and heal. As well as personal care for my baby. Shannon did just that. She genuinely cared for me and my husband, making sure all our needs and wants were met. She helped us breastfeed and gave us advice to her best knowledge while recommending we ask others as well. She loved on our sweet baby, so sweetly and tenderly. I felt excited and at ease to see her each time she entered our room. She was one of the first nurses we encountered and then was the same nurse to discharge us which was amazing to be seen off by her. She wrote us a sweet card and was just amazing in every way! Shannon deserves so much recognition for her hard work, her pure heart and her amazing expertise.
