One patient's bad experience with a past childbirth made her especially uneasy for the birth of her third child. But having Shannon Daniel as her L&D nurse made a world of difference.
Despite the patient's labor being very intense and fast, Shannon made the delivery unchaotic and helped the patient have an epidural-free delivery.
"When my pain was too uncomfortable to check something, she always waited patiently," her nominator shared. "Shannon gave us the best experience and joyful memory of our son being born, and no one will ever be able to welcome him into the world so lovely again."
