Shannon is a traveling labor and delivery nurse working at Texas Children's Hospital at the Women's Pavilion in Houston Texas. Shannon and I hit it off right away, I was nervous and anxious for my C-section and she made me feel like I had a trusting and caring friend in the room. She made me feel at ease and comfortable the entire time. Shannon was not only extremely professional, but she does it in such a caring and personal way that I couldn't help but be extremely grateful that I had her by my side.
I had a very rough and traumatizing delivery with my first child and was extremely worried and frankly, scared of going through another C-section, especially since my doctor and I had planned a VBAC. Shannon took her time to get to know me and I her, on top of the amazing care she provided. Even though we had to wear masks, I could tell she wore a tireless smile her voice and demeanor were consistently genuine and caring.
