July 2024 Honoree
Shannon Evans 2024, RN
Shannon received multiple nominations from family members of a CPCU patient. The patient’s sister expressed, "I was impressed that she chose other options to calm my brother down rather than using medications. Within just a short time of her playing calming music and talking to him, he was relaxed.” She further said, “Shannon did so much that day. I couldn’t wait to tell other family members how our visit went, and all the extra things Shannon did to comfort my brother.”
Another family member praised Shannon by saying, “Shannon was so kind, compassionate, loving and so caring to our family member during our visit yesterday. We felt truly blessed seeing how much empathy and love she showed. She just goes way beyond what she needs to do. What a wonderful heart she has.”
The patient’s niece added, “I’m so glad Shannon is one of my uncle’s nurses. She definitely loves her job and cares for her patients.”
