You have an amazing Nurse, she shared my journey with me. She made me smile every day! When anyone needed help including the other Nurses who showed up, Shannon, even when she was not my nurse for the day, still stopped by to check on me. I will say it was not only me she did this for. Even though I'd like to feel special she did it for everyone. I thank her so much for being there for me, she was not just a nurse but an amazing nurse! Thank you, Shadyside, for having such a caring person.

When all the chips were down for me. I sure hope she gets this award; it is the only way I know to tell Shannon what she meant to me and to thank Shadyside for having someone like Shannon. Thank you, Shannon, from the bottom of my heart. When I had no family here, you at Shadyside were my family. Sorry, this has been a bit. I was not feeling well but she was not forgotten.
