Shannon saw our little guy as a rapid response nurse when we were on 9 South as well as was our nurse the following night in the PICU. She helped my husband bathe him and gave us some control in our schedule that night which brought some normalcy to this unexpected situation. We were gladly on the hospital's schedule for our son to be cared for and improved, and this although very small, allowed us to have an ounce of control when most was out of our hands.
