Our facility has increased focus to both employee and community health. Shannon Jones is being honored for her participation in many health promotion programs. Shannon's efforts are recognized for her time involvement, dedication and for promoting the hospital in a positive and healthy way. Anyone who knows Shannon is well aware that exercise and running is a part of her life every day and if she can get you to join in, it will also be part of your life. She inspires others and has been known in the middle of a quiet night in the ER, to lead her co-workers in some healthy activity. Shannon is also a relatively new mother and she exercised and ran throughout the majority of her pregnancy. She was also involved in making the "Summer Fun Run" a huge success. The Fun Runs targeted children of all ages and abilities over a 5 week period to participate in the 30-yard dash and up! We are so proud of her leadership and encouragement to help lead others to a healthier, happier lifestyle, for the hours she invests in her work and for the role model she represents.
