I was shocked at the speed and accuracy of the department. I've been to the ED a handful of times, but this is my first visit to the Heart ED. Within minutes. I was in a room with three staff members getting me undressed, blood taken, monitors being put on, and taking notes on what was happening.
Shannon kept me informed, comfortable with warm blankets, got me in for testing so fast, made me feel heard, kept the doctor updated, and got the medicine to get my pain relief. She kept checking on me, had the most beautiful smile, and was with me every step of the way. I felt safe, confident in her knowledge, and she treated me like family. She deserves a raise.
