I have been working with Shannon for about 5 years now. I truly believe she is one of the most compassionate, empathetic, and caring nurses. She listens to her patients and if possible assists them in helping them to come to reason themselves, which in this industry, is a breakthrough sometimes. Shannon builds confidence and trust in people and in mental health that is one of the bigger challenges. Shannon is one of those nurses who leaves an impression, either personally and/or professionally. I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with her and I am proud to call Shannon a professional, a coworker, a teammate, and a friend. With someone like Shannon on your side, there is sure to be a difference in your world. Shannon steps up, stays late, and very rarely complains, and when I say complain, I say that lightly and the complaint is usually validated. I believe Shannon is a true DAISY Nurse with the exact humbleness she conducts herself in her job.
