Shannon McDade, RN

Shannon provides extraordinary care to our patients. She also orientates the new staff to the unit. She is an outstanding role model who shares her experiences, instills good work ethics and teaches proper nursing practice combined with compassion. She is a strong resource to her coworkers. Her knowledge and skills are evident in the care she provides to her patients. As the ANM of the unit, I witnessed Shannon assist a new nurse with an RRT on a patient who was just transferred to the ICU. Shannon was at the bedside to assist without hesitation. Shannon is an example of the type of care Novant strives to give their patients. Kudos to Shannon!
