She made me laugh and smile every time she came and made me feel good as a patient. Shannon was there for me every step of the way every night I was there.
I was admitted into the hospital on Friday night and when there, I was stressing out and having anxiety about what was going on. Shannon was there to help me through my anxiety and talked me through everything I was going through; what the steps were and how we were going to proceed. On the second night of being there, they had me NPO. She did not give up trying to speak with the doctor all night about if I could have clear liquids since I had not had any fluids or food since 11 pm the night before. She made me laugh and smile every time she came and made me feel good as a patient. Shannon was there for me every step of the way every night I was there. She was an amazing nurse. I looked forward every night to seeing Shannon as my nurse.

She obviously cared deeply for Mom. Shannon became like family and a friend to us. We joked about our cherry Pepsi addiction and because of how she made me feel, and the calmness that she brought to my family by understanding what was going on, I would get her a cherry Pepsi every night. I wanted to hug her hello and goodbye at the beginning or end of every shift and was sad when I was asleep when she left. She went above and beyond what most nurses do, and we enjoyed her company. Thank you so much, Shannon. I will miss seeing your amazing face every night.
