Shannon always has a positive attitude, is enthusiastic and upbeat. She always presents with a professional appearance and demeanor. Shannon is caring with her patients and family. She is a team player and interested in helping others.

Our physicians and techs trust her judgement as a nurse and respect her and count on her to make quick and accurate assessments of patients going through procedures in the radiology department. The techs say she comes every time they call her for assistance. Shannon is organized, a good multitasker and able to handle the workload she is given.

One evening when Shannon had stayed late for a procedure and it was finished she and one of our Radiology techs were transporting the patient back to her room, the patient suddenly coded in the elevator. With the help of the RT, Shannon calmly and proficiently ran the code while coming out of the elevator and onto the floor. The techs and radiologists have great confidence in her nursing and critical decision making skills. The patient had a good outcome because of Shannon's calm and proficient manner. The patient's husband witnessed the entire code and said he was never nervous.
