Shannon Murphy, RN, BSN

Shannon recently went above and beyond for a labor and delivery patient who experienced a post-partum hemorrhage. The patient was unable to see her baby after birth. Once the patient was stabilized the next day, Shannon advocated for her patient to have the baby visit in the ICU. Shannon had to speak with administration and work through many barriers to arrange this visit. Ultimately, the patient was able to see her baby, and both the patient and her family were thrilled. Shannon truly made a huge difference in this patient’s life, and we are so lucky to have a nurse like her here at White Plains Hospital.
