Shannon Musselman, RN

Shannon was my preceptor during the night shift. It was so stressful being a new nurse having to learn everything and with Covid going on, it was worse. I will never forget everything I have learned from her. Her level of caring for patients is extraordinary. Now she is a charge nurse and the best. She walks around the unit and makes sure every nurse is doing good. I will never forget a time when a patient was upset and Shannon talked to her and explained why we needed to observe her after the patient had stroke symptoms. Her patient teaching helped calm the patient. Having Shannon as a charge nurse gives me confidence in my role as a nurse because I know I have the support I need.
