I was in tears, and it was shift change. Shannon came in with a smile and was so encouraging and attentive. She was attentive. She was the best nurse. She calmed me down. Her voice was calm, and she was so sweet. She made me laugh. I was so happy to see Shannon this morning. I was feeling better, and seeing she was my nurse made me so happy. She has a way of making things better. She was so happy to see me feeling better. She smiled and talked with me, and encouraged me.

A nurse to me is to help us and motivate us. She does exactly that. She also makes us feel important and takes care of us. I just loved my nurse. She is sunshine on a bad day. I feel blessed to have a great nurse. We already laugh and cut up. When my ankle gets strong after my surgery, I plan to come up here with flowers. She made my days here comfortable. I want her to know I am grateful that I had her as my nurse.

Thank you, Shannon. You’re such a wonderful person inside and out. I forgot to mention—the ice on my foot was always filled as well as my cups. She was always there if I needed anything, even if she was busy. She takes care of her patients
