I am truly grateful that Shannon was my mom's nurse that day.
My mother was scheduled for a surgical procedure. I want to recognize and profoundly thank my mom's nurse Shannon Weber, RN, for contacting me when she reviewed my mom's chart. When reviewing my mom's information, she saw that my mom had an Alzheimer's diagnosis and a support person with her. Shannon contacted me once they brought my mom to pre-op holding and she asked very pertinent questions about my mom.
I am truly grateful that Shannon was my mom's nurse that day. When Shannon contacted me after the operation and discovered I had questions for the surgeon, she did her very best to try to get answers to my questions before sending my mom home. Shannon is a true example of putting patients first. Shannon went above and beyond in her role to provide safe patient care and she instilled confidence that we chose the right place for mom's surgery. Shannon provided the best care for her patient that day.
