My husband was in the hospital unexpectedly. When he got there we found out he had stage 4 cancer.
Shannon did everything she could to not only care for him but also the entire family. I stayed nights with him as well as days. She even took care of me as if he wasn't enough.
We had one daughter flying to Harrisburg and Shannon facilitated having her picked up and provided dinner for all of us.
The care she gave my husband was excellent and above and beyond what I ever expected. Then to try to help all of us too was way beyond anything anyone has ever done for us.
Shannon has since become a friend to many of our children and me as well. She has been so kind, considerate, understanding and compassionate to all of us. I believe it is her nature and probably does the same with other families.
She totally made an impossible situation a little more possible to deal with and to handle in this terrible time for our family.
